ThursDAY out!

What a day we had!!!! We headed to the county fair bright and early with friends! First on the list, ANIMALS!

This was his favorite horse!

 

Next on the list was RIDES! Last year we just bought tickets, big mistake! This year, all the kids got the all-you-can-ride-until-your-mom-says-no-more wristbands! They had a blast! They rode everything in kiddie land (except for the kangaroo/bunny crossbreed ride).

Next it was time to EAT!  There were hundreds, I mean HUNDREDS of choices! He kept it simple with a hot dog on a stick followed by crazy ice cream! I enjoyed my veggie gyro with cheese on a stick for dessert! It was so blasted HOT that after lunch we took the LOOONNNNGGGG walk back to the car and hurried home for phase 2 of our day!

 

 

 All cleaned up and ready to go to his preschool for meet the teacher! We have never actually been inside his school before today, but we know it is the right school for us! He absolutely LOVED seeing his room and meeting his teachers today! He walked all over that classroom! Played with the dress-up hats, colored on some papers, checked out the cash register and mailbox and introduced himself to flippy the goldfish! Martino made himself right at home! His first day of school is Tuesday! I hope that it is as successful as today was. He didn't want to leave!

It was so hot and they did so good! Popsicles were first on the list when we got home! As soon as baby's started to drip I quickly ripped her shirt off and hid her headband!

 

As if the day wasn't already long enough. I then decided that is was too hot to play outside without water so we made a quick trip over to the nearest pool to jump right in! It sure felt good!

Introducing..........US!

Hello Blogger Land! I have no idea where to start  (I feel like I am three years late to the party) so, I guess I will just jump right in! :) These are my two amazing children! Martino is almost three and a half and Aliviana is 17 months. They are so much fun and so exhausting at the same time! My name is Heather, and I am on my second year of being a stay at home mom (once upon a time I was a kindergarten teacher). My husband owns a very successful catering business and works long, crazy hours, so most of the time it's just me and my babes. We love going on fun adventures, trying new things and being outdoors! I hope to share our adventures this year as Martino begins preschool and we transition into a new stage of our lives. I am excited to begin something new!
